New Hail Caesar Army: Archaic Argos to fight my Spartans
I'm not at all sure anyone will be interested in this so this posting is in part for my own records. I was thinking about my 28mm Archaic Spartan army. I love it, but they have only ever fought on the table-top once in ten years. If they are to fight again, I need to create their opponents and so I have placed an order with First Corps (the only real choice for my specific period).
The link is to a snapshot summation of who the Argives were, their wars with Sparta (and Corinth) from the 6th century BCE down to 495 BCE, what they might have looked like and a selective and detailed army list.
