EIR Roman Medium Cavalry: Digital Back-Cataloguing
When I look at what I painted and assembled for the Early Imperial Roman (EIR) army, little wonder my poor Celts had such a hard time of it. If memory serves, the command group is Wargames Foundry but the rest are all Old Glory 28mm figures.
I bought and started painting my EIR figures at the end of the 1990s and it's been a while since they got a game in.
All shields are hand painted from a design reproduced in Armies and Enemies of Rome (Barker and Heath). These days I'd develop a decal and go from there but back then, it was a cross-eyed exercise of patience and attention to detail.
